The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, arrived in the afternoon at the Mostar airport, marking the establishment of a direct air line between Belgrade and Mostar. Vucic and the Chair od BiH’s Council of Ministers, Borjana Kristo, addressed the media.

Three months ago, I discussed this with Vucic in Davos. We are happy because we are witnessing the opening of this route which is significant in multiple ways. At this moment, over two thousand tickets have been sold. This line will be important both in the tourist and economic segments. I thank everyone for their contribution“, said Kristo.

Vucic thanked Kristo for the hospitality and said that he was also happy because of the route.

I am very happy about this connection between all our nations. A return ticket will cost around 104 euros, the flight will be three times a week. There is no car you would spend less on (to travel the distance). Apart from this practical importance, it is important to note that it additionally connects business communities”, he said.
