President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said that the Serb people in Bosnia's entity Republika Srpska are “neither to blame nor are they liable” for the attacks they were exposed to after the last weekend's elections in Serbia.
Addressing the media on Sunday, Vucic said it was not a problem if they attacked him and the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, but that they attack the Serb people in this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“For them, everything is a show and in order not to explain to the nation that they are incompetent and that they have lost the elections for the umpteenth time, they blame St. Peter and thievery and the people from Republika Srpska and from here and there”, Vucic said referring to the complaints of the opposition in Serbia to the regularity of the elections.
Vucic also said that both Bishop Sergije and Bishop Irinej of Backa were attacked because they stood up for the Serb people from Republika Srpska, whom the opposition now blame for everything, just like the “Serb martyr people from the Republika Srpska Krajina” used to be.
He noted that the opposition and “its media” attacked Bosnian Minister of Security Nenad Nesic because he voted in the elections, and he only voted in the extraordinary parliamentary elections, because he had the right to do so, according to Vucic.
Serbian President stressed that he told Nenad Stevandic, the Speaker of the Republika Srpska entity parliament, he should definitely vote in the elections next time.
He asked the opposition why they mention “some 40,000 voters from Republika Srpska” when there are 5,100 of them in Belgrade with the right to vote.
“They passed that law. They walked then with Milorad Dodik, now that Dodik does not support them but someone else, now they blame him”, said Vucic.
