Bosnia is currently controlled by militant Islam, which is dominant in setting the agenda, Croatian President Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic told Israeli President Reuven Rivlin while in a three-day visit in Israel, the Jerusalem Post reported on Monday.
She told her Israeli counterpart that Bosnia was very unstable and that it was taken over by people with connections with Iran and some terrorist organisation, the Jerusalem post wrote.
She touched upon the migrant crisis affecting both Bosnia and Croatia and said that her country is suffering a migrant problem that is not quite like that of much of Europe.
She also noted that Croatia was willing to give asylum to refugees, but that migrants looking for a better life should not violate their borders.
The Israeli President was interested in some accusations by the Croatian Jewish community who accused Croatia of trying to whitewash Croatia's fascist past and crimes committed by the Independent State of Croatia, a fascist puppet state of Germany during the World War II.
She assured Rivlin that this is not the case and that Croatia is not trying to deny its past.
