Bosnia Presidency members pay respects to Ukrainian victims

Bosnia Presidency Chairman and Croat member Zeljko Komsic and Bosniak member Denis Becirovic arrived in Ukraine on Wednesday for an official visit, where they first visited memorial sites and paid respects to the war victims.

According to the information they shared on social networks, Komsic and Becirovic as well as their associates travelled to Kyiv on a night train.

Upon their arrival, the Presidency members paid their respects to the Bucha massacre victims and laid flowers at the Wall of Remembrance of the Fallen for Ukraine.

Bosnia Presidency members on a visit to Ukraine

During their visit to Ukraine, Bosnia Presidency members are set to meet Kyiv's senior officials and will attend the international conference of the Crimea Platform.

“This is the first time that some of the BiH Presidency members visits Ukraine since the beginning of the war. Ukraine has been defending for a year and a half now from the Russia's aggression, and in the meantime the country managed to liberate a great part of its territory and make progress on the frontline. Bosnia and Herzegovina is in this way expressing support to Ukraine,” Becirovic said ahead of the trip.
