Bosnia's Presidency members meet Turkey's Erdogan in Antalya

Bosnia’s Presidency members held a bilateral meeting with the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in Antalya, on Saturday.

On this occasion, Presidency member Denis Becirovic said they had a friendly and very meaningful meeting with the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

“At the beginning of the conversation, I expressed my gratitude to President Erdoğan for his warm hospitality and the respect shown to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the meeting, I said that it is very important for BiH to continue deepening political, economic and other ties with the Republic of Turkey. I expressed my respect to President Erdoğan for the overall assistance to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I especially emphasized that it is important for our country to join the NATO alliance as soon as possible and to be in this Alliance together with the Republic of Turkey.” said Becirovic.

He added that Erdoğan's messages are encouraging for all BiH citizens and peoples, especially his words that we should work on consolidating peace and stability, economic projects and strengthening the state institutions of BiH, which should be functional and efficient.

“As a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, I will do everything in my power to make the all-round and friendly cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Turkey even stronger and better in the coming period. This is the mutual interest of our countries and peoples, and that is why we discussed some new joint steps that we will implement in the coming period,” BiH Presidency member Becirovic said.
