Fire at Uborak landfill near Mostar still active

According to the fire department, one fire engine and three firefighters are currently at the scene working to extinguish the blaze.

The fire was reported on Monday, after which the first firefighting crew was dispatched to the site. According to information from the field, solid waste at the landfill is burning.

The Mostar Professional Fire Department said they currently have no information indicating that the fire poses a threat to nearby residential buildings, while firefighting operations continue.
