A brief announcement about his arrival was published on the X network, accompanied by a photo of Giuliani stepping off a plane at the airport.
Last week, Dodik confirmed to RTRS that Giuliani had accepted his invitation to visit Banja Luka. Dodik stated that their discussions would primarily focus on Republika Srpska and confirmed that there are several channels of communication with the new U.S. administration.
President Dodik said at the time that the people see Giuliani as a legendary New York mayor, a symbol of resilience, and a fighter for justice.
"You have personally experienced how the system can use the judiciary and media campaigns to attack political opponents, which makes your story an example of courage and perseverance," Dodik stated at the time.
The verdict of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the case against Milorad Dodik and acting director of the Official Gazette of Republika Srpska, Milos Lukic, for non-compliance with the decisions of the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, is expected on Wednesday. Dodik has announced that he will not attend the verdict hearing at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
