International Medal Parade honours multinational EUFOR personnel at Camp Butmir

Troops from Albania, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Türkiye, and Poland were awarded the honours by EUFOR Commander Major General Maurizio Fronda. The parade served to acknowledge their contributions to Operation Althea, while underscoring the multinational nature of the mission.

During the event, Major General Fronda commended the dedication shown by the recipients. He emphasised that while the personnel hail from diverse backgrounds, they operate as a unified team with a singular focus on maintaining peace and stability within Bosnia and Herzegovina.

EUFOR stated that the ceremony highlighted the strong bonds, shared values, and collective purpose among its members. The occasion served as a demonstration of the efficacy of international cooperation in the ongoing effort to ensure a safe and secure environment for all citizens in the country.
