Christian Schmidt, the international peace envoy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, will meet Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Belgrade on Thursday, according to Tanjug news agency.

The meeting comes days after Schmidt, who is the UN's High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina with special powers to impose laws and remove officials, suspended a law in Bosnia's Serb-majority part, Republika Srpska entity, which sparked outrage among the Bosnian Serb leadership.

The German envoy and Vucic already met in September last year, about a month after Schmidt took office.
