The individuals were transferred to the Temporary Reception Centre in Blazuj, where they underwent identification and registration procedures.

Several were issued expulsion orders and placed under supervision at the Immigration Centre in East Sarajevo.

Bosnian citizens who provided unregistered accommodation or failed to report the stays, as required by law, will face misdemeanour charges.

“We strongly urge property owners not to rent out accommodations to individuals without legal residence status in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as doing so violates existing regulations and may lead to misdemeanour or criminal liability,” the Service for Foreigners’ Affairs warned.
