Bosnia and Herzegovina entered 2026 facing a pivotal moment for the Lopare mining project, which was intended to position its Republika Srpska (RS) entity as a strategic partner for the European automotive industry. However, Saturday’s transfer of power in Budapest has dismantled one of the three key pillars supporting the venture.
