Foreign Affairs Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Crnadak will take part in the ministerial meeting of the Central European Initiative (CEI) in Split on Monday, at the invitation of Croatia's Foreign and European Affairs Minister Marija Pejcinovic-Buric.

The gathering, organized under Croatia's presidency of the Initiative, will also be attended by foreign ministers of Serbia Ivica Dacic, Hungary Peter Szijjarto, Montenegro Srdjan Darmanovic and newly appointed Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Enzo Moavero Milanesi.

The ministers will focus on cooperation in the region and perspective of the CEI in the future, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The CEI is the largest and oldest forum of regional cooperation in the Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe, formed in 1989 and counting 18 members. It is aimed at establishing of cooperation among the countries of different political orientations and economic structures. Bosnia had joined the organisation in 1992 along with Croatia and Slovenia.
