State police officers apprehended one person during the raids they conducted on Tuesday in the areas of Sarajevo and Istocno Sarajevo within the police operation codenamed 'Kodeks'. The operation is linked with the case of suspended President of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina Ranko Debevec and former intelligence chief Osman Mehmedagic.
The apprehended persons is suspected of committing the criminal offence of false representation, prescribed by the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as the criimnal offence from the Article 29 of the Law on Gender Equality of BiH, according to the press release issued by the State Investigation and Protection Agency.
The suspect was taken to the premises of the agency and will be handed over to the Prosecutor's Office for further processing.
The raids were carried out at the order of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office and in cooperation with police officers of the Federation and Republika Srpska entities’ ministries of internal affairs.

“Activities are being carried out in the case against the suspended President of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina Debevec Ranko and the former director of the Intelligence-Secutiy agenca of BiH Mehmedagic Osman, and within the scope of expanding the investigation to more events with suspicion of corrupt activities and other illegal activities. The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina submitted a proposal to extend the custody of the two suspects for another 30 days, so that all the necessary activities could be fully implemented, in order to make a prosecutorial decision in the case,” said the Prosecutor's Office.
