After he appeared before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the plea hearing, Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik said he does not understand the indictment.
Dodik also refused to stand up after the judge showed up in the courtroom, as prescribed by procedures, saying that he has a back pain.
He said he was a “minor” when what he is charged with happened, adding that he does not trust the Court of BiH because there is a flag of the Federation entity (FBiH) displayed in there and not that of Republika Srpska entity (RS).
Judge Jasmina Cosovic Dedovic said that Dodik showed disrespect for the court and that what he said interprets as he pleads not guilty.

Speaking to media after the plea hearing, Dodik called the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina an “illegal” institution.
“This is purely a political process, it has no legal ground and I came here to say that,” he stressed.
According to him, the “verdict has already been made.”
Dodik was accused alongside the acting director of RS Official Gazette Milos Lukic over their refusal to implement decisions of the High Representative in BiH on the RS entity territory.
Following the plea hearing, Dodik said that this was a “joint criminal enterprise” by Christian Schmidt, the High Representative in BiH whom he does not recognise, and Michael Murphy, the US Ambassador in BiH.
“I think this is all illegal, a circus. This is a circus that will discredit judiciary. Of course I will come to upcoming sessions,” he said.
