The President of Bosnia’s Republika Srpska (RS) entity Milorad Dodik said Saturday in Banja Luka that in the event that High Representative Christian Schmidt imposes a decision on state property, this BiH entity would hold a parliament session on the same day and decide on its future status.
“It is a wall for us (the issue of state property) and we have two paths. One is to disappear and cease to exist. The second is to preserve our autonomy and independence,” said Dodik.
He added that he discussed this issue in Moscow with Russian President Vladimir Putin, whom he informed that this would be the collapse of the Dayton Agreement that ended the 1992-1995 war in Bosnia.
“The answer was encouraging for me – Republika Srpska will not be alone. Similarly, the RS will never leave Russia and it wants to develop relations with that country at the highest level”, Dodik said.
He again accused the American and British embassies in BiH of continuously acting against the RS, stressing that their ultimate goal is to “destroy and bury the RS completely.”
Dodik assessed that the British are not only “burying” the RS, but also Serbia, accusing them of being behind the latest incidents in the north of Kosovo and the organization of opposition protests in Belgrade.
“We, Serbs, must not wait for a new time under the colonial administration of foreigners. That would lead to the disappearance of the Serb people,” the entity President said, adding that the world is no longer unipolar, but multipolar.
Dodik said that RS will “continue to look for friends across the world”, announcing that he will visit China at the end of the year.
