Bosnia Presidency member Zeljko Komsic conveyed a message for the citizens of the Serb-majority entity Republika Srpska, advicing them “not to fall for the fraudulent empty phrases” by Serb Presidency member Milorad Dodik about alleged merging with the neighbouring Serbia and his plans to sacrifice peace and future of their children.
Komsic said that Dodik can tell those empty phrases only to those who are economically dependant on him, while those who live in “economically progressive” part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is the Bosniak-Croat shared Federation entity, “will certainly not fall for his plans.”
His statement comes in response to Dodik's speech during the ceremony of marking the suffering of the Serbs on Mt Kozara, where he said that the last century was the century of the Serbs’ suffering and this one should be the century of the Serbs’ uniting.
He said that this generation might not succeed in that but that it is improtant that the next generations keep that in mind not only as an idea but as a goal.
