An unusual sight unfolded Monday in the Sarajevo neighbourhood of Nedzarici, where firefighters and police evacuated a migrant who had been living in a makeshift shelter—high up in a tree.
According to reports, the man had been residing there for some time and had even set up a sleeping area in the branches. Authorities were alerted to the situation early in the morning and carried out the evacuation.
It remains unclear how long he had been staying in the tree or what prompted him to take up residence there.
