Council of Ministers delegation arrives in Sofia

Bosnia and Herzegovina's Council of Ministers delegation, headed by Council of Ministers' Chairman Denis Zvizdić, has arrived in Bulgaria for a two-day visit. Zvizdic met with President Rumen Radev of Bulgaria and talked about further improvement of bilateral relations.

Zvizdic stressed the good relations between the two countries and added that Bosnia remains committed to building peace and stability on the Balkans and its accession to the EU and NATO.

President Radev congratulated Zvizdić on Bosnia's submission of the European Commission's Questionnaire for EU assessment of the readiness of states to begin the accession process and expressed hope that Bulgaria will preside over the EU by the time the EU sends its response to Bosnia's Questionnaire answers.  

Radev said that Bulgaria was the first country to recognize Bosnia's independence in 1992 and continues to support it ever since.

The two spoke of initiating new projects and organizing business forums to connect entrepreneurs from both countries.

Bosnian delegation's arrival came after the invitation by Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov. Bosnian delegation was welcomed at the airport by Bosnian Ambassador to Bulgaria.
