Delegation of the Federation Council, upper house of the Federal Assembly of Russia, will pay a visit to the Republika Srpska (RS), Serb-dominated semi-autonomous entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on April 24th.

According to Fena news agency, the Russian delegation is scheduled to meet the RS President Milorad Dodik, and Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko will address the RS National Assembly.

Matviyenko took office in September 2011, and she previously acted as governor of Saint Perersburg and deputy prime minister of Russia.
