In the Adriatic Sea Basin, the Water Agency has issued a warning of possible rising water levels, local flash floods, and urban flooding due to forecasted heavy rainfall of 40-70 litres per square meter, with some areas potentially receiving up to 100 litres within 24 hours.
The warning is in effect for September 10 and 11.
The Agency urges relevant authorities to closely monitor the situation and take action within their powers in line with the FBiH Operational Flood Defence Plan. It also recommends heightened vigilance from services responsible for protective measures, rescue operations, and the safety of people and property.
