The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Zvizdic, met with Turkey’s Minister of Education, Yusuf Tekin, in Ankara to discuss expanding cooperation in the field of education. Both officials emphasized the deep historical and cultural ties between Bosnia and Turkey, highlighting the importance of strengthening educational collaboration.
One of the key topics of discussion was the expansion of university partnerships between the two countries, including new development programs with a particular focus on the region of Gorazde and the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton. Additionally, they explored the possibility of establishing a Bosnian language department at one of Ankara University's faculties.
Zvizdic and Tekin agreed that bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Turkey remain strong and reaffirmed their commitment to furthering cooperation in the education sector. The meeting underscored both nations’ dedication to fostering long-term academic and cultural exchanges.
