The Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has made it possible for all its employees to get vaccinated in the Republic of Serbia, the Court said Tuesday, adding that the operation was made possible thanks to the cooperation with and support of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Serbia, Serbian Foreign Ministry, the Ambassador of Serbia to BiH and the Serbian Health Ministry.
This was done in consideration of the epidemiological situation in BiH caused by the pandemic of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), taking heed of the warnings and recommendations by the epidemiological profession, assessing the risks to the health of the employees and the need for securing unimpeded work processes of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Court statement said.
A first dose of the vaccines has been successfully administered to the employees of the Constitutional Court of BiH on 15 March 2021 in Uzice General Hospital, Serbia. Administration of the second dose of vaccines will be arranged at a later date in cooperation with the competent institutions of the Republic of Serbia.
“The Constitutional Court of BiH expresses sincere gratitude to the colleagues from the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Serbia led by the President Snezana Markovic, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Nikola Selakovc, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Aleksandar Djirdjevic, who have all made the vaccination of the employees of the Constitutional Court of BiH possible as a gesture of goodwill.
In addition, the Constitutional Court expresses particular gratitude to the employees of the Public Health Institute of Uzice led by its Managing Director Vlatka Stevanovic”, the Court stated.
