Bosnian delegation walks out of UNGA during Netanyahu’s speech

Bosnia and Herzegovina’s delegation joined numerous others in walking out of the United Nations General Assembly during the speech of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is under an arrest warrant issued by the International Court of Justice in The Hague.

By leaving the session, Bosnia and Herzegovina aligned itself with countries that have taken a firm stance against what they describe as Israel’s genocide in Palestine, openly condemning Netanyahu as the chief architect of such crimes.

“Ambassador Lagumdzija sent me a message confirming that the BiH delegation left the General Assembly hall ahead of Netanyahu’s address,” Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg, and longtime UN correspondent, Erol Avdovic, told N1.
