Milorad Dodik, the Serb member of Bosnia's tripartite Presidency, said he would meet Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Sergey Lavrov in Belgrade and inform him about the “work of the Constitutional Court and illegitimately elected high representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina.”

Dodik is a strong opponent of the presence of the international envoy who oversees the implementation of the peace process in the country and he advocates the closure of the Office of the High Representative. He also denies some decisions of the BiH Constitutional Court, claiming that they are detrimental to Republika Srpska, Bosnia's Serb-dominated entity where he was elected for the Presidency.

Both Lavrov and Dodik will attend the summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, which is taking place in the Serbian capital city on its 60th anniversary.

Dodik told the reporters on Sunday that he will discuss with Lavrov the construction of the Serb-Russian Centre in Banja Luka, Republika Srpska entity's administrative centre, as well as the economic issues such as the construction of gas pipeline.

“This will be a nice opportunity. There will also be the leadership of Serbia, so we cvan discuss the pipeline leg from Belgrade to the Drina river,” he added.

Lavrov will also meet President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic who assessed the summit as Serbia's great success.
