Dzaferovic asks BiH Constitutional Court to review High Rep's reforms

The Chairman of Bosnia’s tripartite Presidency, Sefik Dzaferovic, asked the Constitutional Court to review whether the amendments to the Constitution of the country’s Federation (FBiH) entity and the state Election Law which were imposed by the High Representative, Christian Schmidt, are in line with the BiH Constitution.

Schmidt, who is the international community official tasked with overseeing the civilian implementation of the 1995 Dayton Peace Agreement, imposed the reforms on the evening of the general elections in the country, October 2.
On Monday, several hundred people gathered in front of the Office of the High Representative (OHR), demanding that Schmidt withdraw his decision.
