According to a survey by the Hungarian Szazadveg Foundation, current BiH Presidency member and candidate for President of Bosnia’s Republika Srpska (RS) entity, Milorad Dodik, has a significant advantage over his opponents in the upcoming elections, RTRS reported.

RTRS, the public broadcaster in the Serb-majority RS entity, cited the Hungarian newspaper Hungarian Conservative, which said the survey showed that 44.1 percent of people in the RS said they would vote for Dodik at this moment, while 32.1 percent expressed support for Jelena Trivic, and 4.1 percent for Radislav Jovicic.

As for parliamentary elections, the survey also reportedly shows that Dodik’s Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD) would win 41.4 percent of the vote, and Trivic’s Party for Democratic Progress (PDP) would win 16.5 percent.

The Szazadveg Foundation survey showed that 78 percent of respondents said they would probably vote in the upcoming elections, while 9.7 percent said they would probably not vote.

These results differ from those of the Faktor plus agency, which said that Jelena Trivic has an advantage over Milorad Dodik by a little more than 2 percent.
