Responding to the president of BiH’s Republika Srpska (RS) entity, the U.S. Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina published a breakdown of the U.S. Government’s investments to support the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, stressing that a significant part of this money “directly benefited people living in the RS”.
“Since 1995, the United States government has invested more than $2 billion in initiatives to support BiH citizens, of which an estimated $638 million has directly benefited people living in the RS. We know where is the Money. The U.S. government invested it in BiH to provide a better life for its citizens”, the Embassy posted on X and added a link with more detailed information.
The breakdown of the investments can be found here.
The post came after Dodik, who is at odds with the U.S. Ambassador, commented on the frequent criticism and corruption accusations the U.S. Embassy has been voicing against him.
Recently the Embassy asked Dodik “Where is the Money?”, which prompted him to ask the Embassy the same question.
