Bosnia’s Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik met in Budapest with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, and it was announced earlier that he will also meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of that country, Péter Szijjártó.
On that occasion, Orban announced on the social network X (formerly Twitter) that his meeting with Dodik was to deepen the stability of the European Union.
“The stability of the Western Balkans is essential for the European Union. Instead of lecturing and sanctions, we believe in dialogue and cooperation. My meeting with President Milorad Dodik today served this purpose.”
During his two-day visit to Hungary, Dodik will also meet with Archbishop and Metropolitan Lucian of Buda in Szentendre.
He will also open the event “Serbian Days – the month of Serbian culture in Hungary” and the exhibition “Uros Predic in Szentendre”.
This manifestation is held under the auspices of the President of the RS entity.
