Bosnia and Herzegovina recorded a 10 percent year-on-year export growth in the first four months of 2018, with the export to the European Union countries only amounting to 2.7 billion Bosnian Marks (BAM), said the Statistics Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The export amount exceeded 3.5 billion of BAM (approx. 1.75 billion EUR) in the first four months of 2018, while the import for the same period amounted to nearly 6 billion BAM, which is an 8.3 year-on-year growth.
According to the Statistics Agency, the trade deficit for that same period was BAM 173 million.
Bosnia's export to the European Union states amounted to BAM 2.7 billion, which is a 13.3 percent year-on-year increase, the Statistics Agency said.
