Several associations and organizations scheduled protests in front of the Office of the High Representative (OHR) building in Sarajevo for Wednesday, July 27, calling on all BiH citizens to peaceful protests under the slogan "Stop dividing us into pens."
”It’s time for the future of BiH to be taken over by young people from all corners of our homeland. It’s time for a civic BiH, it’s time to put an end to the current Constitution of BiH, which, according to the judgment of the European Court of Human Rights, discriminates against all citizens of BiH. According to assessments of the courts, foreign and domestic governmental and non-governmental organizations in BiH, both constituent and non-constituent peoples, citizens, minorities, women, children, persons with disabilities, as well as foreigners – migrants on the way to Europe are discriminated against. Bosnia and Herzegovina is the homeland of all of us. It’s time to fight for the homeland according to the measure of all its citizens. We hereby invite all honest people, patriots as well as the diaspora to join us,” stated the invitation published on social networks.
The protests are organized and supported by the UM Velika djeca, the Bosnian Citizens’ Council, the Council of Citizens in BiH, the First National Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Bosnian Movement, the Assembly of Bosnians and others.
The protests will be held from 13:00 to 15:00.
