Republika Srpska entity President Sinisa Karan hospitalized in Banja Luka

According to an official statement, Karan was admitted due to a general infectious syndrome and the need for further cardiological evaluation and diagnostic testing.

The Office of the Republika Srpska President said Karan is in stable condition and remains under constant medical supervision. “The public will be informed in a timely manner about the health condition of the President of Republika Srpska,” the statement said.

Unofficially, the newspaper Nezavisne novine reported that Karan was hospitalized following complications related to a viral infection that had been previously diagnosed.

According to the same sources, doctors detected a minor fluid buildup around the heart, prompting his admission for additional medical examinations.

Unofficial information indicates that Karan’s condition is stable and that the situation does not involve more serious health complications.
