The project, worth around €15 million, is expected to become operational within the next two months, according to officials inBiH's Republika Srpska entity.
Goran Racic, president of the Republika Srpska Chamber of Commerce, said the new factory will manufacture high-end sanitary ware and bathroom equipment exclusively for export markets.
The investment is expected to create between 120 and 150 jobs, providing a significant boost to the local economy and manufacturing sector.
The production facility has already been completed, while engineers are currently installing manufacturing equipment. Gradiška Mayor Zoran Adzic said the recruitment process has been completed and newly hired workers are undergoing training ahead of the factory's opening.
During the initial phase of production, between 80 and 100 employees will begin work, with additional hiring planned as production capacity expands.
Officials say Gradiska has become an increasingly attractive destination for foreign investment in recent years, citing its proximity to the European Union, developed transport infrastructure and business-friendly administration as key advantages.
According to official figures, the city has recorded an increase of approximately 2,300 employed persons since the end of 2019, despite the economic challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent global crises.
The Israeli investment is expected to further strengthen Gradiska's manufacturing sector and export-oriented economy.
