New railway lines connect Sarajevo with the Adriatic coast

A railway line connecting Sarajevo with the southern town of Capljina and further to the Adriatic Sea will be operating between June 15 and August 31 this year, the Railways of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced on Friday.

The train will be departing from Sarajevo every morning at around 7 am., reaching Capljina two and a half hours later, where the passengers can take a bus connection to Bosnian coastal town Neum and Croatian cities of Makarska and Split.

Round trip tickets for these three destinations range between 30 and 44 Bosnian marks (approximately EUR 15 to 22) and can be purchased at the Railway's ticket box offices.
