N1’s reporter said some 150 migrants and refugees who were prevented from entering the north-western town of Bihac, Friday morning, returned to the Usivak migrant centre in Hadzici, near Sarajevo.

Police officers thus continued implementing measures preventing the influx of new migrants to the area of Bihac and Velika Kladusa, which is in line with the decision of the Operative Group for migrants in the Una-Sana Canton (USK),” Cantonal Interior Ministry spokesperson, Snezana Galic, said. “This decision was approved by the State Security Minister Dragan Mektic.”

According to her, the reason behind this decision is overcrowding of their capacities but also the maintenance of the security situation in the Canton.
