Person in Istocno Sarajevo shot dead

“One person has been heavily injured in the shooting, and died in the hospital this morning. Police officers are at the site of the incident, and the investigation is ongoing,” said spokesperson for the Police in Eastern Sarajevo, Vesna Stokanovic.

Authorities later confirmed to N1 the victim was Sinisa Milicevic. Spokesperson of the Kasindo hospital, Dalibor Boskovic, said Milicevic was in a conscious state when he was brought in with gunshot wounds in the area of his chest and abdomen.
