After receiving medical care and treatment for minor injuries, all eight were deemed fit for transport, Health Centre Director Jasmin Mehanovic confirmed.
One patient remains in the surgical ward of the Brčko hospital. According to doctors' assessments, his treatment is expected to continue until the end of the week, after which he is expected to be transported to his home country.
Mehanovic said that the EUFOR members treated in Brcko over the past several days, as well as their superiors, had expressed satisfaction with the medical care provided and the professionalism of the healthcare staff.
"The foreign soldiers who were treated at our institution have had nothing but praise for the medical staff. Both they and their superiors have repeatedly expressed their gratitude and satisfaction with the professionalism of our employees," Mehanovic said.
He particularly praised the efforts of all staff involved in treating the injured, from ambulance drivers to the anaesthesia, surgery and orthopaedics departments and the emergency medical service. He stressed that their joint efforts ensured timely, high-quality medical care.
